We began with a target user group, those with motor control issues. From there we employed the double diamond model, initially diverging our thought process to various concepts, before confirming via user feedback and research, the jar & dispenser model designed in the first portion of our work.

Again we diverged exploring ways in which the same core function could be achieved, through different mechanisms. Once more, we contacted our users for their preference and feedback, but made use of our engineering understanding to keep a level head in terms of practical viability for each suggested mechanism.

With a strong base for the final design we confirmed said viability using the cardboard prototypes at our disposal, and various engineering engineering techniques on the 3D models such as finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics.
